Aegis Risk Management are proud to have successfully provided protection to visiting
Middle Eastern diplomats throughout their visit to the United Kingdom in October 2023;
catering to a complex set of requirements throughout the three week visit. The task was
very dynamic and involved a vast amount of strategic planning, whilst simultaneously being
prepared to adapt to changes in our schedule.

Our principal and guests enjoyed the smooth running of their trip, where our professional
Close Protection Officers were on hand 24/7 from airport pick up to drop off. The diplomatic
visit consisted of a stay in London’s Mayfair and also a trip to Mid-Wales where our client
enjoyed shooting in the heart of the Welsh countryside.

The London visit started with an airport pick up from London Heathrow, where experienced
Aegis Risk Management Security Drivers and Close Protection Officers were on hand, with
vehicles ready, to facilitate a smooth pick up and safe drop off into Mayfair. Our client’s stay
in London consisted mainly of evening restaurant excursions and day time shopping trips.
The Aegis team’s thorough knowledge of the capital ensured the operation remained hassle
free. An Aegis Risk Management Security Driver, Close Protection Officer and high-end
vehicle was provided to the principal and his party on each day and were on standby 24/7.

Towards the end of the visit, our teams embarked on a unique excursion, escorting our
principal and his guests to Mid-Wales for a week of shooting in the countryside. Plenty of
planning went into mapping out the safest and most convenient route into Wales to ensure
a safe and efficient trip. There were many hazards to consider in an unfamiliar environment,
and thorough risk assessments were carried out. The Aegis Risk Management security team
drove together in convey in high-end, off-road vehicles as we escorted our client from site
to site. With firearms and live rounds in abundance and adverse weather conditions to
consider, dynamic risk assessments were constantly being carried out.

All excursions were a fantastic success; with Principal and guests ending their trip extremely
happy with the quality of service and calibre of personnel that they received during their
stay.
